What is Landing Page?

This is the URL that a user comes to after clicking on a banner advertisement, an advertisement, or a paid search link. It may be any URL on your website, ranging from a dedicated microsite to your homepage. However, the information displayed on the page must be aimed at guiding users towards conversion. As a rule of thumb, enhancing engagement with this page’s messaging and design boosts engagement when tailored to the ad’s promise. However, radio advertisements often point to URLs, as URLs are tricky to spell out.

Examples of landing pages would include: Driving paid search traffic to a signup page specific to the product; Social media ads driving clicks to promo-focused landing pages; display ad visitors directing to a download form explicitly designed for that purpose.
