What is Google Merchant Center?
Google Merchant Center is a tool used by retailers to upload product data such as images, descriptions, and pricing to enable Google Shopping ads and other Google services. Accurate and current feeds ensure products qualify to be listed in searches and on Shopping tabs, thereby boosting traffic to the e-commerce site.
Some tasks in Merchant Center include processing a nightly product feed upload via API, resolving issues with disapproved products caused by absent GTINs, and assigning custom labels for seasonal sales.
