What is Domain Authority?
Domain Authority (DA) is a 0-100 score developed by Moz that analyzes a site’s potential to rank in search results. It looks at the number and quality of backlinks, relevancy, engagement, and trust of the domain. With Moz’s Domain Authority Analysis tool, one can check the Domain Authority scores of competing websites.
Insights into domain authority may include watching your DA after successful backlinks increase from 30 to 45 or industry benchmarks set by leaders, with DA above 60 still holding strong.
