What is Delisting?
Delisting is the process of removing one or more web pages’ registries from a search engine’s database. This can occur voluntarily, like with removal requests through a search console, or involuntarily, such as when a site is flagged for quality violations like keyword stuffing or cloaked redirects.
Examples of Delisting include asking Google to suppress outdated content, abridging rules such as banning doorway pages for misleading practices, and index loss due to chronic guideline violations.
