What Is CTR?

Click-Through Rate (CTR) is a digital marketing metric that shows the percentage of people who click on your ad after seeing it. It helps measure how effective your ad is at getting attention and encouraging interaction.

The formula is simple:
CTR = (Number of Clicks ÷ Number of Impressions) × 100

So, if your ad was shown 5,000 times and got 100 clicks, the CTR would be 2%.

CTR is commonly used in campaigns based on CPC (Cost Per Click), CPM, and also in evaluating the performance of search, display, and social media ads.
