What Is Bing?

Bing is Microsoft’s search engine, launched in June 2009 as a replacement for Live.com. It is one of the main alternatives to Google and supports both organic search results and paid search advertising through Microsoft Advertising (formerly adCenter).

Bing also powers search results for Yahoo Search, both for organic listings and paid ads, as part of a partnership between Microsoft and Yahoo.
